Angelic Network CIC successfully hosted an informative Health and Well-being Workshop in collaboration with Dr Ali, GP at College Road Surgery, and the Freestyle Libre 2 Team, providing members with valuable advice on diabetes awareness, prevention and management. Attendees benefited from expert guidance and received free Freestyle Libre 2 glucose monitoring sensors, normally costing approximately £50 each, helping them better understand and monitor their blood sugar levels. In addition, Angelic Network arranged free blood pressure monitors for members living with high blood pressure who would otherwise struggle to afford them. The session was extremely well received, empowering members with practical knowledge, essential health resources and greater confidence in managing their well-being. A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated healthcare professionals for their time and expertise, and to Attia Aslam for organising another successful community health initiative.
