DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network has been running basic and advanced computer workshops for its members\, teaching them about day-to-day tasks from a technological point of view. The workshops cover topics such as making calls using apps like Zoom and Google Meet\, sending emails\, using the NHS App to make appointments\, and using online banking apps. The workshops were initiated in response to the isolation caused by Covid-19\, particularly affecting minority groups. The classes have been ongoing to help new members and provide refresher courses for existing members. The workshops have been a great success\, helping members to develop their technological skills and stay connected with their communities during these challenging times. \nSince Covid hit\, we realised that the isolation affected a lot of people\, especially minority groups. These classes are still on-going to help new members as well as providing refresher for existing members. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network recently organized a session on leading a healthy lifestyle and weight loss\, featuring the knowledgeable Dr. Paul\, a GP from College Road Surgery. During the session\, Dr. Paul shared his expert advice and top tips on how to lead a healthy lifestyle and achieve weight loss goals. He discussed the importance of maintaining a healthy diet\, staying physically active\, and managing stress levels. Dr. Paul also shared various strategies for losing weight\, including setting achievable goals\, tracking progress\, and seeking support from friends and family. The session provided valuable insights and guidance for those looking to improve their health and wellbeing. The Angelic Network Team were commended for organizing such an informative and educational session\, which will undoubtedly help many members of the community to make positive changes in their lives.  Angelic Network team also arranged translators for Urdu\, Punjabi and Arabic speakers.

SUMMARY:Eid Mela - 3rd July 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network organised an Eid Mela event that was attended by over 200 members of the community. The event was a great success\, with a range of activities and stalls available for everyone to enjoy. There were over 10 stalls set up in the centre\, offering a diverse range of food items including biryani\, chaat\, popcorn\, and a range of delicious desserts. The event also had clothes stalls where the ladies could shop and prepare for the upcoming Eid celebrations. The henna application stall was particularly popular\, with many members taking advantage of this traditional art form. The event provided a great opportunity for members to come together and celebrate the festivities of Eid in a fun and enjoyable setting. The Angelic Network was commended for organising such a successful event that provided a memorable experience for all those who attended.
