DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network recently organised a vibrant pre-Eid event for the Woking community\, which turned out to be a truly memorable occasion\, bringing together a large gathering of people from different backgrounds. The event was made especially remarkable by the presence of many honorable guests\, including the Mayor of Woking\, Louise Morales\, and Councillor Will Foster. Both dignitaries extended their heartfelt congratulations to everyone in attendance\, wishing the Muslim community in Woking and around the world a joyous Eid. They also took a moment to express a profound message of peace and solidarity for the people of Palestine\, reminding everyone of the importance of unity and compassion during these times. The Angelic Network was particularly grateful to Councillor Will Foster\, who generously funded this event from his Member’s Community Allocation Fund\, making it possible for the celebration to be so successful. He expressed his happiness at seeing the joyful smiles on everyone’s faces\, which truly captured the spirit of togetherness that the event aimed to foster. The evening was gracefully hosted by Councillor Attia Aslam\, who ensured that all attendees felt welcomed and engaged throughout the festivities. During the event\, funds were collected for Palestine\, showcasing the community’s commitment to supporting those in need.
