SUMMARY:Ramadhan Food Drive - March 2024
DESCRIPTION:In March 2024\, the Angelic Network conducted its annual food drive\, marking the most successful effort to date. The dedicated Angelic team collected monetary and food donations from community members\, aiming to support deserving local families with essential supplies for up to two weeks. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the community\, the team was able to provide food hampers to over 40 local families\, with many receiving enough provisions to last more than two weeks. The hampers were thoughtfully filled with a variety of items\, ranging from staples like lentils\, rice\, and flour to essential toiletries and household cleaning products. This year’s food drive showcased the deeply generous spirit of the community\, with donors coming together to make a meaningful difference. Both the Angelic Network and the families who received these hampers are profoundly grateful for the kindness and support shown by all who contributed. \n

Many attendees brought their families\, transforming the evening into a magical experience amidst the enchanting surroundings of RHS Garden Wisley. During Glow 2023\, participants marvelled at the garden’s breath-taking beauty\, guided by dazzling illuminations that lit their path on an extraordinary journey. \nEmbark on the exhilarating trail as they meandered along the enchanting route\, discovering Wisley’s iconic landmarks bathed in new and mesmerizing lights. Some members indulged in treats from the Village Square before making their way to Seven Acres\, where illuminated wicker alliums\, globes\, and arches awaited. \nThe Glasshouse radiated with light and merriment\, adopting a Christmas beach theme. Outside\, the Glasshouse Lake sparkled with disco balls\, while the Rock Garden and Oakwood exuded a warm glow. The Alpine Meadow transformed into a ‘field of fire\,’ and all members revelled in the Wisteria Walk\, bathed in a purple haze. The evening reached its grand crescendo with a spectacular display of fire and water at the Laboratory\, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a magical night.

DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network recently organised a delightful Eid festival that saw an impressive turnout of around 1100+ individuals from various communities and of all ages. It was a fantastic way to socialize and come together with others in celebration of this special occasion. \nWe would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the attendees who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the event and support our cause. We extend our thanks to members of Smef\, Shifa Network\, Trinity Woking\, Mascot\, Family Voice Surrey\, SCC\, WBC\, including the leader of the council Ann-Marie Baker\, and local councillors who attended the event and made it sparkle. \nWe would also like to thank Mascot for generously sponsoring the venue for the event. \nOverall\, the Eid festival was a great success\, attendees got to explore Pakistani\, Indian\, Arab and Bangla food\, home-made cakes\, raffles prizes\, jewellery\, sweets\, henna\, face-painting\, candy floss and live music. It was heart warming to see so many people from diverse backgrounds come together and celebrate this special occasion. We hope to continue organizing such events in the future and look forward to your continued support.

With the help of local community members who generously gave food and monetary donations\, the organisation was able to distribute food hampers to an additional 20 families. The hampers were filled with a variety of essential food items\, including flour\, sugar\, and canned goods\, to help alleviate the financial strain of purchasing groceries during the holy month. The recipients expressed their gratitude for the support they received\, and the Angelic Network’s dedication to helping those in need was once again demonstrated through their efforts. The success of the food drives serves as a reminder of the importance of community involvement in creating a brighter future for all.

DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network recently conducted a Ramadan food drive in which they distributed food hampers to 22 families in need. The hampers were filled with nutritious food items such as pasta\, pasta sauce\, cooking oil\, and other staples. Angelic Network team managed to deliver food in Woking\, Addlestone\, Knaphill\, Stains\, Weybridge\, Egham\, Camberley and surrounding areas. All food was donated by Angelic team members. The initiative aimed to provide relief to families who were struggling to put food on the table during the holy month of Ramadan. The Angelic Network’s efforts were greatly appreciated by the recipients\, who expressed their gratitude for the support they received. The food drive is a testament to the organization’s commitment to serving the community and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of World Women’s Day\, the Angelic Network organized a delightful coffee morning to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women around the world. The event was attended by women from all walks of life\, and the atmosphere was lively and filled with warmth and camaraderie. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sound of clinking cups created an ambiance of comfort and relaxation\, allowing the attendees to connect and share their experiences. The Angelic Network honoured the extraordinary efforts of women in various fields\, such as education\, healthcare\, and social welfare\, and encouraged them to continue to pursue their dreams and ambitions. There was also discussion about Surah an-Nisā\, which is a chapter of the Quran regarding women.  Overall\, the coffee morning was a beautiful tribute to women and their accomplishments and a reminder of the importance of empowering and supporting them.
