DESCRIPTION:Angelic Network orchestrated an evening gathering for over 60 members at RHS Wisley’s Glow event. Many attendees brought their families\, transforming the evening into a magical experience amidst the enchanting surroundings of RHS Garden Wisley. During Glow 2023\, participants marvelled at the garden’s breath-taking beauty\, guided by dazzling illuminations that lit their path on an extraordinary journey. \nEmbark on the exhilarating trail as they meandered along the enchanting route\, discovering Wisley’s iconic landmarks bathed in new and mesmerizing lights. Some members indulged in treats from the Village Square before making their way to Seven Acres\, where illuminated wicker alliums\, globes\, and arches awaited. \nThe Glasshouse radiated with light and merriment\, adopting a Christmas beach theme. Outside\, the Glasshouse Lake sparkled with disco balls\, while the Rock Garden and Oakwood exuded a warm glow. The Alpine Meadow transformed into a ‘field of fire\,’ and all members revelled in the Wisteria Walk\, bathed in a purple haze. The evening reached its grand crescendo with a spectacular display of fire and water at the Laboratory\, leaving everyone with cherished memories of a magical night.

DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network recently organised a delightful Eid festival that saw an impressive turnout of around 1100+ individuals from various communities and of all ages. It was a fantastic way to socialize and come together with others in celebration of this special occasion. \nWe would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the attendees who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the event and support our cause. We extend our thanks to members of Smef\, Shifa Network\, Trinity Woking\, Mascot\, Family Voice Surrey\, SCC\, WBC\, including the leader of the council Ann-Marie Baker\, and local councillors who attended the event and made it sparkle. \nWe would also like to thank Mascot for generously sponsoring the venue for the event. \nOverall\, the Eid festival was a great success\, attendees got to explore Pakistani\, Indian\, Arab and Bangla food\, home-made cakes\, raffles prizes\, jewellery\, sweets\, henna\, face-painting\, candy floss and live music. It was heart warming to see so many people from diverse backgrounds come together and celebrate this special occasion. Angelic Network team managed to deliver food in Woking\, Addlestone\, Knaphill\, Stains\, Weybridge\, Egham\, Camberley and surrounding areas. All food was donated by Angelic team members. The initiative aimed to provide relief to families who were struggling to put food on the table during the holy month of Ramadan. The Angelic Network’s efforts were greatly appreciated by the recipients\, who expressed their gratitude for the support they received. The food drive is a testament to the organization’s commitment to serving the community and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Dr. Paul also shared various strategies for losing weight\, including setting achievable goals\, tracking progress\, and seeking support from friends and family. The session provided valuable insights and guidance for those looking to improve their health and wellbeing. The Angelic Network Team were commended for organizing such an informative and educational session\, which will undoubtedly help many members of the community to make positive changes in their lives.  Angelic Network team also arranged translators for Urdu\, Punjabi and Arabic speakers.

DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network recently organized a female-only session in Sheerwater aimed at raising awareness about the importance of cervical screening. The session was presented by Surrey Heartlands and focused on spreading awareness amongst ethnic groups about the risks of cervical cancer. The session provided valuable information about the importance of regular cervical screenings\, and highlighted the increased risk of cervical cancer in certain ethnic groups. The presentation also discussed common misconceptions about cervical screenings\, and emphasized the importance of early detection and treatment. DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network recently organized an informative question and answer session with Deborah Dunn-Walters\, a Professor of Immunology and lead for the University Research Theme Lifelong Health at the University of Surrey. During the session\, the Professor provided valuable insights into the immune system and shared her knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine. The attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and express their concerns about the vaccine\, and Professor Dunn-Walters answered them in a clear and informative manner. The session was particularly useful for those from communities that were hesitant to get the vaccine\, as the Professor provided reassurance and dispelled some common myths and misconceptions. The Angelic Network team was applauded for organizing such an important event\, which helped to educate and inform the community about the Covid-19 vaccine and the immune system.

SUMMARY:Eid Bazaar - 7th May 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Angelic Network organised an Eid bazaar event that was attended by over 700+ members of the community\, including 200+ Angelic Network members. The event was filled with festive stalls\, including 10+ food stalls that offered a range of delicious items like biryani\, chaat\, popcorn\, and sweet treats like cakes. The event also had clothing stalls that catered to ladies\, offering a range of traditional clothes and accessories for the upcoming Eid celebration. Henna application stalls were also available for members to avail themselves of. The event was a great success and provided an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Eid in a joyous and festive atmosphere. The Angelic Network were applauded for organizing such an event that promoted community spirit and cultural traditions.
